Controller of Examination

  • Continuous Evaluation: -
    1. Providing feed back to faculty members for movement of CP marks given to Students.
    2. Providing monthly reports to students, feedback on student's queries on the same.
    3. Reporting the cases of students to director whose attendance is < 90%.
    4. Finalization of low attendance students list at end of semester. Conducting of APRC
      Meeting with Director & Committee and publishing of 'D' grade results.
  • Preparation & conduct Examination: -
    1. Inviting / contacting faculty members to provide 4 sets of question papers, finalization of question papers after quality check with Associate Director. Xeroxing and keeping them ready for distribution in Exam Hall with full confidentiality. Supply of answer sheets to Exam, collection & storage after exam.
    2. For any mal practice reported during examination, organize APRC meeting with help from APO, with Director / Associate Director, attended by 5 faculty members. Issue the minutes of APRC decision & implement the Decision / punishment into Result.
  • Conduct of CAP, & Publishing the result arranging for result inputs: -
    Masking for answer sheets & inviting faculty members for paper checking after Term End
    Examination. Follow up & Receipt of cases, Assignments, Surprise test marks. Compilation of result inputs from CAP, midterm, mark sheets, cases, assignments & surprise test Normalization & fixing of Grades as per norms & publication of results, after approval by auditing in dependent faculty.
  • Moderation: - Invite faculty members other than the ones who checked the papers for the cases < 40% and > 70%. Moderated marks are treated as final.
  • Conduct of Revaluation Process: -
    Conducting re-evaluation of answer sheets as per student's needs & applications. Inviting faculty members for the same. If the increase in marks > 10% award the same to the students. If the increase is > 50% repeat re-evaluation by another faculty member. Discuss the increase of marks in APRC and award the mean marks.
  • Preparation Mark sheets: - Based on the results, student wise mark sheets preparation, checking and approval from authorities.
  • Preparation for Convocation: - After final results, the preparation of final degrees based on results approved by Resolution of board of Management of MAEER. Control of Distribution of Degree & Mark sheets during and after convocation.
