Mr. Rahul V. Karad is an enterprising young educationist with a firm belief in channelizing the power of youth for the development of the nation. He is an engineering graduate with a Post-Graduation in Management from UK and has completed the OPM program from Harvard Business School, USA.
He is the Executive Director of MIT School of Management and MIT School of Business, Pune and has established the MIT School of Government, Pune, which is the first institution in India and Asia to start a professional program for a career in politics.
He is a firm believer in the 'value based education system' strongly propagated by his illustrious father Prof. Dr. Vishwanath D. Karad, a

visionary educationistand Founder and Executive President of MAEER's MIT Group of Institutions, Pune. He is also the driving force behind Bharat Asmita National Awards, which are national level annual awards. These awards have been constituted to felicitate the excellent work done by outstanding people in the fields of management teaching, people's representation and public awakening either through mass media or NGOs.

Karad realizes that educational institutions provide an excellent platform to promote the cause of nation building and social commitment and actively encourages the students to participate in nationally and socially relevant activities.
